Summary Poco M3 Pro 5G
The M3 Pro from Poco currently is the most affordable 5G device. Its “switchblade” design, as Poco calls it, features a blacked-out portion located on the left-hand part of the body, resembling the camera module style in Samsung’s S21 series, and the rest of the body has a gradient appearance. The 6.5-inch full-HD+ screen is clear and offers a good color rendition.
It’s Poco M3 Pro 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC that is identical in performance to Dimensity 800U with the exception of its slower CPU cores and the slightly slower GPU. The phone runs MIUI 12.0.2 that is which is based on Android 11. Gaming performance was excellent too and heavier titles like Call of Duty: Mobile was able to run smoothly.
It’s true that the Poco M3 does not have an ultra-wide camera. I had hoped to see one in higher-end models like the Poco M3 Pro 5G. However, this isn’t the case. In general, I believe Poco could have utilized higher-quality sensors on this model dubbed “Pro”, or even offered users an ultra-wide camera that would make this phone stand out from its cousin.
