Summary Samsung A51

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is one of the first phones in the budget category that sports Samsung’s flagship Infinity-O cutting-edge display. It’s a lightweight phone that is comfortable to hold. It comes with the Super AMOLED panel for bright and vivid colors.

The phone runs the Exynos 9611 Octa-core SoC is outdated and does not have a lot of power for a mid-range smartphone in 2020. The phone does feature One UI 2.0, based on Android 10, along with certain features that are specific to India, such as the capability to organize your SMS messages into graphic cards as well as multilingual predictive typing and Smart Crop that claims to identify the most relevant portion of a photo and let you crop it in just a single click.

Overall, performance is good however, it could have been better were Samsung utilized a more powerful processor. It’s also one of the very first Samsung phones with an exclusive macro camera. We found the quality of the photos to be excellent. The image quality in low light was somewhat disappointing as was the rate that the camera’s front lens produced, even in low light. The battery’s capacity is 4,000mAh, which gives a decent battery that lasts for a day, and it has 15W fast charging as well.
